To further strengthen the brand McCafé, the fast-food chain McDonald's extended the offer of coffee-based products to more than 700 restaurants of the network and has standardized the visual identity of the segment and, now, the strategy is beginning to draw attention.
Sales of coffee at McDonald's in the first week of April exceeded expectations. According to the company, compared to the same period of last year, consumption has risen 34% between days 1 and 7, with sales of over 221 thousand cups of coffee. Last January, the network had launched more products in the segment, after developing thermal cups that preserve the characteristics of the beverage any longer, besides facilitating its consumption and transportation. Today, the McCafé beverage line has the option of coffee served pure, with milk or cappuccino-shaped.
