BRF close joint venture with Singapore company

The BRF, world largest exporter of chicken meat, struck a deal for a joint venture in Singapore with the Singapore Food Industries (SFI), a subsidiary of SATS, the largest provider of airport services in Asia, reported the BRF said Thursday.
The IFC will join SATS BRF with his food distribution business, which includes two meat processing plants and a distribution center, equipment and licensed brands.
Already the BRF will pay 19 million dollars to stay with a slice of 49 percent of the joint venture.
"This transaction is in line with the strategic plan of the BRF to internationalize the company accessing local markets," the company said in a statement to the market.
