Truck Drivers Threaten New Strike

Independent truckers press the federal Government and say they will go on strike on April 23 if, by then, is not created a table with minimum values for payment of freight. The position was announced yesterday afternoon (26), in Brasilia, at the headquarters of the National Agency of Terrestrial Transports (ANTT), in a meeting to discuss the proposals put forward by truckers and accepted by the Government last month. The Government's claim to not create the table with minimum values is that it would be necessary to ensure legal basis to prevent the embargadores break that decision in court.
