The Potash Corp reported on Monday agreed to acquire 9.50 percent shares of Fertilizer Heringer, of the controlling shareholders, with 55.7 million dollars.
According to Potash, the deal allows a long-term supply agreement, which gives the company the Canada opportunities to become the main supplier of Heringer.
Separately, the Heringer reported that its controlling shareholders Dalton Days Heringer, Dalton Carlos Heringer and Juliana Heringer Rezende celebrated agreement on 28 February, alienating 5,116,441 ordinary papers issued by the company and its ownership.
The Heringer reported that operation is subject to verification of certain conditions precedent, including regulatory approvals applicable to transactions of this nature.
