Malaysia opens market for Brazilian chicken meat

The Brazilian Association of Animal protein (ABPA) announced yesterday that the Government of Malaysia settled the opening of its market to imports of chicken meat halal manufactured in Brazil. The statement from the Department of veterinary services of Malaysia-passed today by the Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento-indicating enabling a meatpacking company JBS unit, located in Amparo (SP).
Other 10 plants await the same approval to ship products to the country with almost 30 million people-mostly Islamists.
