IDV predicts growth of 3.2% in retail sales

The Antecedent Index of sales-sales growth projected IDV reais to 3.2 percent in February compared to the previous year, according to the Institute for the development of retail (IAD) on Monday.
For March, the expectation is 5.2 percent advance, while for April is 5.1 percent growth, both in the comparison year-over-year.
"After the negative result verified in December, the IAV-IDV's grown back in January, with an actual result of 1.5 per cent, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, already discounting inflation," said the organisation, in a statement.
