Imports of chemical products totaled $ 3.2 billion in the first month of the year

Brazilian imports of chemical products totaled $ 3.2 billion in January 2015, representing a decrease of 7.1% in comparison with the month of December and 9.3% in comparison with January 2014.
Already, exports of $ 1.1 billion, also accused falls of 9.6% and 7.4%, respectively for the same periods. In terms of volumes, imports of 2.6 million tons represent a decrease of 6.9% compared to last January and 16.6% expressive in comparison to December 2014. In turn, exports of 1.4 million tons meant an increase of 7.1% compared to January 2014 and of 4.4% in relation to last December.
