H.b. Fuller announces acquisition of Tonsan Adhesive

The H.B. Fuller Company announced the completion of the acquisition of Tonsan Adhesive Inc, the largest independent provider of engineering adhesives in China. With the acquisition, the company strengthens the relationship with customers in the adhesives markets rapidly growing engineering, in addition to improving the capacity of technology development and the State of art of its industrial plants.

Last year, generated a revenue of Tonsan approximately $ 100 million. The H.B. Fuller acquired 95% of the capital stock of Tonsan worth $ 225 million. The four founding members of Tonsan remain in company as part of the leadership team and with a minority stake.
