Pfizer wants to acquire rival Allergan

The u.s. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer plans to acquire rival Allergan, headquartered in Ireland, a country with taxes lower than the United States, reported a source close to the operation.
Pfizer, based in New York, presented an offer to buy Allergan to between 370 and 380 dollars per share, according to the source, who requested anonymity, information that confirms the news agency Bloomberg News.
