Marfrig will resume operation of refrigerator in Alegrete

The Marfrig will resume in 100% operations in the fridge of Alegrete, Rio Grande do Sul. The unit would be shut down last January, but the Justice stopped, forcing the company to keep the refrigerator running even though below the capacity with fewer employees.
Now, the company says, to note, that in the coming days will begin to fill out "more than 300 positions" in order to strengthen the abates. The unit is one of the 15 that the group maintains in Brazil.
The decision comes on the heels of the labor negotiations after the Group announced the suspension of activities at the factory, in January this year, which would result in dismissal of 600 employees. The Marfrig alleged that the unit was deficient and no prospects of change in the short and medium terms. Among the difficulties presented were the lack of raw materials and the need for investments in structural improvements.
On occasion, the suspension was barred by the judge from work Jose Carlos Dal Ri, Alegrete, until there was an agreement between the fridge and the syndicate of category.
