Cardboard sales fall 4.42% in October compared with October 2014, says ABP

Sales of corrugated board boxes, accessories and plates-fell 4.42 percent in October compared with the same month of 2015 2014, to 302.141 thousand tons. In comparison with the month earlier, September, exactly there was growth of 6.64 percent. The data are and were disclosed on Tuesday, 10, by the Brazilian Association of corrugated board (ABPO).
In January to October this year, the accumulated fall is 3.33% compared to last year, with 2.771 million tons. The month of October the fourth monthly consecutive retreat consolidates accumulated in comparison with the same period last year: in September the fall was 4.47% in August of 6.33% and in July of 4.54%.
Throughout the year of 2015, only the months of March and June recorded expansion in sales against 2014, 0.62 percent and 1.28 percent, respectively.
