The beverage company Ambev announced on Tuesday the purchase of Group of mixed drinks, ciders and beers in Canada in a transaction valued at 350 million dollars which should be completed in the coming months.
The brands were bought from Mark Anthony Group and include labels such as Palm Bay, Mike's Hard Lemonade and Okanagan Cide.
The deal also includes the purchase of Turning Point Brewery, which produces beer Stanley Park. The acquired brands will be managed by Labatt Breweries of Canada, a subsidiary of Ambev.
