The 10 largest pharmaceutical companies in the country in 2014

In 2014, 871.7 million units of generic medicines were sold in the country, a business that generated a revenue of R $ 13.7 billion for the companies in the sector, 18.5% compared to the previous year.
The information is from the Brazilian Association of generic drug Industries, the PróGenéricos, based on the IMS Health indicators.
"With prices on average 60% lower than the reference products, generics earn even more relevance in stagnant economy scenarios and risk of impairment in the income," said Telma Salles, Executive President of the PróGenéricos, by means of communication.
