Tetra Pak ® announces acquisition of company Switzerland Miteco

3/6/2014-Tetra Pak ®, announced this Monday (3) the acquisition of the company Miteco Switzerland. The acquisition will strengthen Tetra Pak ® as a world leader in the production of carbonated drinks and expand its already extensive portfolio of products. In addition, the company has a strong technical support and broad geographic presence.
The Miteco, founded in 1982, with a focus on innovation of dissolutions and mixtures for beverage production is a leader in solutions for processing of carbonated beverages, soft drinks and juices.
As a result of the agreement the Miteco have expanded their global reach to more than 170 countries that have sales channels of Tetra Pak ®. According to the Director of operations and sales of Miteco, Guillermo Fernandez, the integration with the Tetra Pak Group ® will allow the company to continue its growth path.
