Latco launches chocolate with pieces of fruit

Arrives this week to the Brazilian market the first and only drink UHT milk with pieces of fruit: ChocoLatco + versions ' chocolate with coconut chips ' and ' chocolate and strawberry tropical with coconut shavings '. The product launch was made possible through the drinksplus technology, developed by SIG Combibloc, which allows the packaging of products with up to 10% of the content of pieces of fruit, cereals and other solid foods.
The release creates a new product category in the country: drinks with pieces in long-life packaging.
The ChocoLatco + is designed for young and adult audiences and, according to Latco, is an excellent choice of snack or dessert, because in addition to the pieces, contains more milk and more cocoa.
Drinksplus technology allows the packaging of products with up to 10% of pieces of other fruits, grains or vegetables. The pieces can be up to six millimeters in length and width. According to SIG Combibloc, the advantage for manufacturers is that these drinks are processed and packaged aseptically in long life packaging in standard enterprise machines. Just add the drinksplus kit to equipment.
So that the drink is easily consumed, were developed with wider rolls 7.45 mm in diameter. The traditional rolls used in aseptic carton packs of 200 ml and 250 ml have a diameter of 4 mm.
The two flavors of ChocoLatco + are available in packs of 250 combiblocSmall milliliters.
