Fiat doubles profit in Brazil in 2013, for $ 8.5 million

Fiat of Brazil, a subsidiary of Italian manufacturer of vehicles, closed 2013 with net profits of r $ 8.5 million, more than double compared to r $ 4 million in 2012, according to financial statements published today.
The company, based in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, Brazil closed in the capital.
The net revenue was r $ 203,7 million, 13% growth. The cost of services rose a bit more, but the company made up for the reduction in gross margin with a cutting operating expenses.
