Ferrero Rocher Announces investments of r $ 200 million in Poços de Caldas (MG)

Present in Mines, in the municipality of Poços de Caldas, since 1997 the Ferrero Rocher will have doubled its production capacity and will develop new product lines, such as Kinder and Tic Tac, will broaden the existing lines of Nutella and Ferrero Rocher, besides having a new distribution center with 17 thousand positions-palets, allowing greater efficiency to its operations and customer service. And this investment will allow us to keep up with the growth in demand for superior quality products, "said Carlos Magan, responsible for the operations of Ferrero in Brazil and the Southern Cone. According to him, "Minas Gerais will concentrate the production and distribution of Ferrero in Brazil".
The project is expected to be fully completed by 2015. Ferrero's production of Poços de Caldas is intended both to domestic and export market. At the same time, certain lines of products not manufactured in Brazil are sent to the Poços de Caldas, generating a constant flow of export and import of products.
