Consumption of juices ready grow 12.5% in a year

The consumption of juices ready earned 1.7 million new homes in Brazil last year, according to data from a survey from Nielsen. The purchase of alcoholic drinks had increased by 0.3% between November 2012 and November 2013, especially the juices that had registered an increase of 12.5% over the period. The accession of the new habit of consumption happened predominantly in Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, especially in households with average socioeconomic level and homemakers with 51 years or more.
