Celulose Irani will expand production in Minas Gerais

The manufacturer of kraft paper and corrugated packaging Celulose Irani will invest 200 million dollars for the expansion of production capacity at the factory of Santa Luzia (Minas Gerais) and for the construction of a new production unit of packaging in the State. The company wants to modernize and expand the production capacity of the paper machine (MP) 7, from the current 60 thousand tons a year to 86.4 thousand tons per year. The new packaging factory, in turn, has a production capacity of around 60 000 tonnes per year.
The investment starts scheduled for this year and end in 2017.
