Apple announces new version of the iPad with high-resolution screen

Apple introduced on Tuesday to market a new version of the iPad, with high-resolution retina display, present in other models of the appliance. The version with larger screen, to 9.7 inches, was rebranded as iPad Air.

The new model, according to the company, replaces the iPad 2. The appliance will be sold with the same suggested prices from previous versions, $ 399 for the 16-gigabyte processor model and $ 529 for model with access to Wi-Fi networks and cellular connection.
The company also reported that the appliance has camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and with ability to capture high-resolution videos, plus battery with up to 10:0 of duration, among other functions.
According to Apple, the new model is on sale in the United States, in the Apple stores and shops AT&T carriers, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.
In Brazil, the Air iPad with retina display is sold on the company's online store and the operators Claro, Hi TIM.
