Natura has net income of r $ 214,6 million in Q3

Natura ended the third quarter with net profit of r $ million, 16.8% 214,6 above registered a year before. The cosmetics manufacturer's net revenue advanced 5% over the same period, to $ 1.87 billion.
In Brazil, however, the advance billing was more discreet, of 2.7%, to $ 1.51 billion. International operations, in turn, have net revenues of r $ 360,3 million, 16.2% more than in the equivalent range of 2013.
"Our recent initiatives of activation and channel segmentation, along with important releases in perfumes and deodorants allowed a slight recovery of our revenue growth, but still below the desired levels," said the direction of the company in the report that accompanies the balance.
The result before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda, in English) grew 7.2% in the third quarter, to $ 427,1 million, while the Ebitda margin rose 0.5 percentage point to 22.9%.
Natura's net income came in accordance with the expected by the market. The average of three houses of analysis considered by the value pointed to gains of $ 215 million. The billing foiled expectations, especially in Brazil, where expected growth of around 4%, but Ebitda came in line with the r $ 426 million estimated.
