Terphane will expand the production capacity of BOPET to 70 thousand tons/year

With investments of r $ 150 million, Terphane will expand the production capacity of BOPET of 40 thousand tons/year to 70 thousand tons per year at its manufacturing plant in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco. The ability of metallization also will be doubled from 5 thousand to 10 thousand tons per year. The new production line goes into operation in the first quarter of 2014 and will be designed to strengthen the competitive position of Terphane in Latin America markets, North America, Europe, Africa and Oceania.
