Sales of motorcycles grow 2.1 percent in January, according to Abraciclo

Motorcycle sales grew 2.1% in the first half of January, compared with the same period last year. In the first 15 days of January were 62,889 emplacadas motorcycles, according to calculation of the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of motorcycles, Mopeds, Scooters, and Bicycles (Abraciclo).
The entity has raised the data based on registered licenses for Vln.
In comparison with the first fortnight of December, however, when they were sold, units 68,596 retraction of 8.3%. The average daily sales in ten working days of the analyzed period, according to data from Abraciclo, was positive.
As the entity, 6,289 motorcycles were sold per working day, 2.1% more than the first half of 2013.
In December last year, however, the number was higher: 6,860 units sold per working day in the first fortnight of the month.
Four wheels
Still in the field of vehicles, but now four wheel segment, the news involves a new competitor in the market. Tomorrow, January 21, the Group officially inaugurated the beginning of Gandini importations and distribution of brand Geely in the Brazilian market.
According to the company, the Geely sedan vehicle EC7 should be the first model to be sold in the Brazilian market, from the last week of January.
