Eldorado quest r $ 1.4 billion for more cellulose in MS

The Eldorado Cellulose Brazil presented this Friday, 6, to the Development Fund for the Midwest (FDCO) a query letter in order to obtain funding of $ 1.4 billion for the construction of the second line of its pulp production plant located in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul.
Second note distributed by the company, the deliberative Council of the supervision will consider the request for release of the amount requested from the Eldorado, which, according to the company, represents about 20% of the total estimated investment.
The first line from Eldorado in MS began producing in November 2012 and operates at full capacity, i.e. 1.5 million tons of pulp per year. The second line provides for the production of over 2 million tons of pulp annually. The opening of this line is scheduled for 2017.
