Fiat's net profit rises 82% in Q2

Milan (AE)-Fiat reported on Tuesday, 30, the Group's net profit totaled 435 million euros in the second quarter of 2013, up from 239 million euros in the same period last year, which represented a high of 82%. Analysts had predicted a net profit of 305 million euros in the quarter, according to the median of estimates compiled by the automaker.
The net profit attributable to owners of the parent company amounted to 142 million euros, more than four times the 32 million obtained in the same period last year.
