Unilever launches technology to seal split ends of hair

New product lines of the brands TRESemmé and Dove in the market since March.
The long and straight hair are preferred among the Brazilian ¹, who see in the dual tip the main sign of damaged hair-this is the view of 85% of them. So that women can solve the problem without having to cut the hair, Unilever launches the TRESemmé line Split Remedy and Dove reconstruction of split ends, which rely on Complex technology Reconstruct able to seal the ends open so far.
"Unilever, as leading Brazilian hair, has the commitment to consumers to bring the solution to their problems. Knowing that the split ends are his biggest nightmare, we have invested five years in the development of Complex technology Reconstruct. Understand how technology works-the hair is made of chemical (disulfide) bonds that break to suffer assaults-caused, for example, by exposure to sun rays, chemical processes and use of equipment such as paddles and dryers-, leaving the damaged part with more negative than positive charges. The products of TRESemmé lines Split Remedy and Dove reconstruction of split ends have a complex Reconstruct with positive and negatively charged polymers that form a gel.
When the complex Reconstructor comes into contact with the hair, the positive side of the gel is attracted to the damaged parts (split ends), connecting the negative to the positive. This process creates a powerful chain contracts while the hair dries, uniting the tips again. The result is a reduction of hair with split ends, soft, shiny and frizz-free.
Get to know the line Dove reconstruction of split ends-Dove reconstruction of split ends combines the expertise of Dove in nutrition and repair of damage with the advanced technology of sealing of split ends: Reconstruct complex, which reconstructs the split ends with visible results from the first use.
The new line, which includes shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment cream and Reconstructor treatment – innovative format inside the Dove-portfolio, also has, in its formulation, with Fiber technology-actives, whose ingredients provide internal repair of hair fiber, preventing the first signs of damage.
TRESemmé line Split Remedy-the new line TRESemmé Split Remedy reduces up to 80% of split ends in only three uses. With the goal of providing Ballroom result at home, the brand brings seven product options that Act on tips from repair washing until you are ready to style the hair. In addition to the conventional formats-shampoo, conditioner and treatment cream-line also has a rescue treatment ampoules, cream, spray and leave-in conditioning repair serum, that in addition to closing the split ends, reduces frizz and gives shine to hair.
The Remedy Split formulations combine the Reconstructor Complex with silicones, keratin-recognized by rebuild and restore the internal structure of the fiber, arginine (in the case of rescue Treatment ampoule) – synonymous with strength to the wires-, among other ingredients that nourish the hair while maintaining beautiful and healthy.
