Suzano's factory in Maranhão reaches 79% of completion

The construction of the new industrial unit of Suzano Papel e Celulose, in the city of Imperatriz, Maranhão, is in full swing. In April, was reached 79% of general physical progress of the work. The unit already has 95% of the infrastructure works completed; 98% of the equipment manufacturing process overcome; 88% civil construction already implemented and 31% of electromechanical Assembly completed.
With the start of operations planned for the fourth quarter of this year, the factory will have the capacity to produce 1.5 million tons a year of eucalyptus market pulp production for export.
