Price of chicken goes back to levels of 2010

In respect of the preceding calendar month, January 2013, there was a decline of 5.66%. But that in nominal terms, because in real values (that is, taking into account that February has only 28 days) which was an increase was observed around 4.5%. The information is from Avisite.
However, even such an increase did not have great significance, because the volume of chicken produced in the first quarter of 2013 has been not only the lowest recorded in the past three years as well as Brazilian production during 2003 in the same levels recorded in the same period of 2010, when the quarter closed with 1.871 million tonnes. IE: to add a little more of 1.873 million tons, which took place in January-February 2013 retreated more than 15% compared to last year's initial bimestrial and was only 0.1% higher than achieved in the same months of 2010.
Taking into account that, on average (2005-2011, seven years), the initial bimestrial production of exercise corresponded to just over 15.5% of the annual volume, for the whole of 2013 something around 12 million tonnes-that is, the lowest volume of the last four years. But, at this time of year, is premature annual projection from any of those numbers.
In any case, the accumulated volume in the last 12 months is not too far from being designed from the average: sum, from March 2012 and February this year, 12.3 million tons and registers indentation of 5.54% compared to the same previous period.
