Coca-Cola will inject $ 1 billion in new plant in Rio de Janeiro

With the capacity to produce 1.2 billion liters of beverages a year, the new Coca-Cola factory aims to meet the increase in demand expected during the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. To this end, the company will invest $ 1 billion in the construction of a new beverage plant in Rio de Janeiro.
The plan is to start in 2014 the operation of the new unit, which will be located in Duque de Caxias, on the ground of the former textile factory New.
