Skol beer ice cream causes controversy

The National Advertising Self-regulation Council (Conar) decided to warn the Skol by launch campaign of a beer-flavored ice cream because I believe that the advertisement on the company website and Facebook page might arouse the attention of children and teenagers. The image contains a 150 ml bottle yellow ice cream whose cover mimics the top of a can of beer.
According to the organ, the Skol acted within the limits of the rules established by the Brazilian Advertising Self-regulation Code laying down special care in advertising messages for alcoholic beverages as selective access devices to prevent browsing by minors of 18 years.
Hard control
The process was opened by Conar's own initiative, which last year had already warned the Skol by campaign Easter eggs. The Rapporteur of the case pointed out that, although there has been an injury goal to ethics in advertising propaganda, lacked a "stricter" control of exposure between children and teenagers. The company can still get a feature in the Council against the warning.
