L'Occitane LAUNCHES BRAZILIAN BRAND with PRODUCTS 30% cheaper

The renowned French brand L'occitane, known by its first line of cosmetics and available only to a small portion of the population, just adopt an innovative strategy. Now, French designer of luxury goods expands business in search of meet consumers accustomed to purchase products more affordable lines between customers of classes A and B, eager for items from competitors such as Natura, Avon and the Apothecary, among others. To this end, the company launched the L'occitane Au Brésil, line with products will cost between R $ 9.90 and $ 80.
According to the company, the products of L'occitane au Brésil will be, on average, 30% cheaper than the products of L'occitane en Provence here in Brazil. The DCI had already anticipated that the company came with the purpose of growing and retail segment. With the launch of the new brand of cosmetics, now manufactured in Brazil, the idea is that all items are made with local raw material.
It is the first time that the Group launches a brand for a specific country, in addition to being the first time that it will outsource production of L'occitane, which until now was concentrated in its factory in Manosque, Provence, southern France. Two lines will arrive in stores on November 15.
Diversification
Last year, the L'occitane had announced, in partnership with supermarket Pão de Açúcar, a partnership for selling their products. On occasion, the group released its second product line, the Le Couvent des Minimes. Composed of more than 30 different items divided into soaps (bars and gel), body moisturizers and shampoos, among others, all products of the new line tell the story of the brand.
