Grows 5.5% of retail trade of SP

Reached r $ 164.5 billion retail sales of the metropolitan region of São Paulo, in 2012, an increase of 5.5% compared to last year. The data are from the Economic Survey of the retail trade, conducted by Fecomercio-SP (Federation of trade in goods, services and tourism of the State of São Paulo). Have the month December presented a can of 3.6% in real sales, compared with the same month of 2011.
According to the survey, the best performances were obtained by pharmacies and perfumeries (15.1%), Commerce (11.6%) and household appliances and consumer electronics stores (8.3%). Among all nine surveyed, only the activities department stores presented their annual sales fall 4.2%, below the accumulated in 2011.
For the Fecomercio-SP, the causes of positive results of 2012 are the virtuous combination of income, employment and credit, alongside measures to stimulate consumption through makes several product lines.
