The company, controlled by Mexican group América Móvil, already offers the service in the cities of Recife, Campos do Jordão, Paraty, Búzios. Currently, the Course offers 3 g connection to the city of Curitiba, the carrier added.
By agreement with Fifa, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) defined that the mobile phone operators to offer 4 g connection until April 2013 in the cities that receive the FIFA Confederations Cup. Already the host cities of the 2014 doMundo Cup, category in which fits Curitiba, must have the service until December this year. In November, the carrier's President, Carlos Zenteno said that the deadline for installing commercial 4 g network in the cities that receive the FIFA Confederations Cup is "tight".
In the crosshairs of Anatel to Clear is on the list of carriers that had suspended chip sales by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) last year. The reason for the measure is the increase of user complaints. The punishment was not uniform across the country. Tim and Oi also were punished and had to submit investment plan.
