In order to strengthen the actions developed by the Campo Limpo (reverse logistics of empty containers of pesticides), the National Institute of inpEV empty packages of agro-Processing, which has been operating for more than ten years in disposal of empty pesticide containers, will attend the 4th round table Curavial. The event, which will take place in Hotel Bahamas in Dourados (MS), on 20 February of 9:0 at 4:15 pm, is an initiative of Du Pont.
The presentation of inpEV will be given by the regional coordinator of the Institute's Operations in the State, Hamilton Flandoli, from 11:40. The focus will be the reverse logistics of empty containers of pesticides. Will address the management and practices carried out by the system Clean Field. In little more than a decade, the system has removed the environment more than 237 000 tonnes of material. Currently, 94% of plastic containers are removed from the field and sent to the environmentally correct disposal. Indexes like these put Brazil on the world reference in the subject position in relation to the countries that have similar systems.
According to the Coordinator, the event is an opportunity to train technicians and alcohol plants in the region of Dourados on appropriate procedures for the return of empty containers of plant health and also strengthen the commitment of inpEV in post-consumer management of these packages.
Also will be part of the table, representatives of Du Pont, Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) de Botucatu, Universidade Federal de São Carlos (Ufscar) and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa). Among the topics covered are: security, management of applying ripener associated with beginning, middle and end of harvest, ripening with curavial, varietal management in Mato grosso do Sul, climatic factors and factors of production of sugar cane in the State and the factors that affect the efficiency of biological control.
