Processed plastic sector must close with growth of 1.6% 2013

In 2013, the physical production of processed plastics industry must close with growth of 1.6%, from 6.66 million tons in 2012 to 6.76 million. Preliminary results of the year were presented by the President of the Brazilian Association of the plastics industry (Abiplast), José Ricardo Roriz rabbit. According to the quarterly review, the second period (April/May and June) was the most favorable to the industry, with the production of 1,745 million tons. In values, production grew 8.6% in 2012-2013 comparison, leaving us $ 22.23 billion to r $ 61,33 billion. Apparent consumption recorded an increase of 9.1%, from r $ 60.8 billion went to R $ 66.3 billion.
