New iPads show that Apple still runs in tablets

Just in time for Christmas, Apple brings to Brazil the latest versions of their tablets: iPad Air and Mini iPad with Retina display. Both are available in two color options, each with three storage alternatives (16, 32 or 64 gigabytes), each of which has option of Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi with data.
This means that the consumer also has a wide range of prices, with the cheapest model (Mini with Retina display, 16 GB Wi-Fi only) going for $ 1,499 on the Apple Store, and the highest price for $ 2,499 (Air, 64 GB, Wi-Fi and cellular).
If the rank of the Apple iPhone as most innovative smartphone is today quite debatable, the same does not apply to the iPad, which remains undoubtedly one of the two best options for the tablet market (next to the line of Samsung Galaxy Note).
The biggest news is the new Mini iPad screen with Retinal technology (and 7.9 inches in size). The name was invented by Apple itself for screens with high concentration of pixels and therefore very sharp resolution. The number of pixels per inch (ppi) of display fold in relation to non-Retina screen. In the case of the new iPad Mini, she is now of 326 ppi, compared to 163 ppi from the previous version.
The screen brings a considerable gain for activities such as games, videos and even for reading, since now you can hardly see the "aliasing" the edges of the letters, even at maximum zoom.
The iPad (9.7-inch screen) was already with Retina display since version 3. The great advantage of the new edition is what made the device earn the name of Air: he is thinner (7.5 mm against the previous 9) and lighter, weighing about 470 grams, 28% less than the iPad. Shipping and handling have benefited from the change.
The interior of the two tablets also brings a major change: both come with a more powerful processor, the A7 with 64-bit chip (also found in iPhone 5S). Thanks to that, operations are slight and unobstructed. Good news is that the two tablets from Apple now also manage to access the 4 g.
