Sumitomo debuts in Paraná first tire factory outside Asia

The Governor Beto Richa participated on Thursday (03/10), along with the President of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ikuji Ikeda, the inauguration of the multinational's factory in Fazenda Rio Grande, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. The tire is the first unit of the Japanese company outside Asia.
The industry has a capacity to produce 15 million tyres per day, the brands Dunlop (row for utilities) and Falken (high performance). The investment in the plant was r $ 750 million and will create 1,500 jobs by 2017.
