Arezzo's profit increases 2.8% and reaches R $ 29.4 million in the third quarter

The retailer of footwear and handbags Arezzo presented in the third quarter of 2013 net income of r $ 29.4 million, 2.8% advance in comparison with the $ 28.6 million recorded a year earlier.
Net revenues in the months of July, August and September totaled r $ 266.7 million, up 8.1% when compared to the R $ 246.7 million in the same period in 2012.
The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) totaled r $ 46.8 million, elevation of 9.6%. The Ebitda margin in the quarter was 17.5%, compared to 17.3% margin a year earlier.
The company sold 2.8 million pairs of shoes in the third quarter and 183 thousand units, an increase of 5.8% and 36.6%, respectively, in comparison with a year before. The number of employees decreased by 4.7% and the number of stores, including abroad, went from 377 to 429.
