Sales Rise 2.2% in October

The sales movement of são Paulo's retail grew by an average of 2.2% in October over the same period in 2018, according to the Sales Balance Of the Commercial Association of São Paulo (ACSP). Spot sales grew 3.7% in October and may have been boosted by Children's Day and Halloween, which focus on sales of lower value items such as clothing, toys and props. On the other hand, term transactions increased by 0.6% in the period. Compared to September, October sales increased by an average of 13.2%.
