Capital Paulista Records Revenues of R$ 2.7 Billion

The city of São Paulo recorded a total of 7.8 million online purchases and earned R$ 2.7 billion in e-commerce between July and September 2019. When evaluating data from the entire State of São Paulo, the state capital recorded more than 40% in relation to the number of orders and revenues, according to the study by the Compre & Confie Movement in partnership with the Brazilian Chamber of E-Commerce (camara-e.net). In the period, 54.6% of e-commerce purchases were made by women. Among the segments that most billed are: entertainment (16.7%); telephony (11.2%); appliances and ventilation (9.8%).
