Embraer will take action to reverse suspension of sale to Boeing

Embraer reported Friday, 7, have been informed of the decision, in an injunction, announced by the 24th Federal Civil Court of Sao Paulo suspending the sale to Boeing and that "shall take all appropriate legal measures" to reverse it. In fact, the brazilian aircraft maker points out that in the decision the judge suspends the business combination, "without opposing any kind of obstacle to the continuation of the negotiations between the two companies". Suspension justice suspended any decision of Embraer allowing segregation and transfer the business side of the company to u.s.-based Boeing. The deal would create a joint venture valued at US $ $4.8 billion, in which 80% of the shares would be Boeing and 20% with Embraer. The decision was made on Wednesday, 5, but the Solicitor-General of the Union (AGU) said that has not yet been notified. Searched on Thursday, Boeing decided not to comment.
