November data-Retail Sales Fall 7.2% Paulista

According to research ACVarejo, the São Paulo commercial Association (ACSP), the volume of retail sales fell 7.2% in Sao Paulo November 2016 in comparison with the same month of 2015, less than presented in October, when the retraction was 11.9%. This was mainly due to better performance of Black Friday in 2016. The survey also points out that, in the period from January to November, the State collects retail retraction of 6.2% as compared to the same period last year.
In November, two of the nine sectors of the São Paulo trade analysed by research showed an increase in sales compared to the same period of 2015. The segment of auto parts and accessories, which had high of 2.5% and was the only sector with positive balance in the accumulated period of 2016 (2.8%). The worst result was in other types of retail trade sector ( -13.3%), which includes fuels and lubricants. All 20 regions paulistas recorded fall in the volume of sales in November compared to the same month of 2015, with emphasis on the coast ( -15.3%).
