Dow Announces new executives for business of plastics

The business of packaging Plastics Dow specialities & Announces Eide Garcia as the new sales Director for Brazil. He will have the mission to drive growth strategies and activities aimed at customers in the region.
Eide started his career at Dow in 2002 as an intern in the area of plastics. A year later, he joined the Sales Department of Basic Plastics in Brazil. In June 2006, he became Manager of market development for engineering thermoplastic, polypropylene and tubing for Latin America. In 2010, Garcia took over the Commercial Management for Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Europe. In 2012 he returned to Brazil to take over the post of General Manager of Santa Vitória sugar and Alcohol. Eide has a degree in chemical engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Leticia Jensen, current Director of sales for packaging and specialty Plastics for Brazil, was promoted to Director of sales for packaging and specialty Plastics for the southern Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal and France) and will be based in Madrid. Leticia started at Dow in 2001 and spent by countries such as Argentina, United States and is based in Brazil from 2011. Graduated in chemical engineering from PUC (Catholic University), Leticia also has post-graduate in Marketing from the University of San Andres (Argentina) and MBA from Northwood University (United States).
