Profit from Johnson Johnson 59.2% gropes & in Q3

SAO PAULO-the multinational pharmaceutical and hygiene products Johnson & Johnson obtained a net profit of $ 4.75 billion in the third quarter, with high of 59.2% compared to the same months of 2013, reported the American company in its balance sheet. The result was reinforced by the $ 1.1 billion gain on the sale of orthodontic diagnosis unit.
The net revenue of the company, on the other hand, was discharged well less expressive, of 5.1%, and amounted to $ 18.47 billion. This advance was registered due to the growth of 18.1% in the pharmaceutical division of the group, which includes companies such as Janssen.
In the quarter, the company still held its spending and the cost of products sold rose only 1%, to $ 5.4 billion. Already the General and administrative expenses were 2.9% higher, at $ 5.47 billion.
Strengthened even the last line of the balance sheet other non-recurring revenues that amounted to alienation and Diagnostics unit guaranteed $ 1.34 billion, in total, to the final result. The net profit was not only more expressive because Johnson & Johnson had to pay triple the tax figure, reaching $ 2.06 billion.
The strengthening of the profits made with the Group elevate the expectation for the year to date. Now, the company projects earnings per share between $ 5.92 to $ 5.97 in 2014, against the previous forecast of $ 5.85 to $ 5.92.
