70 stores will be closed

The Dia supermarket chain announces the closure of 70 stores in Rio Grande do Sul. The operation closes the activities of the flag in the state and in the southern region of the country.
The decision, made by the head office of Dia Group in Spain, is expected to be executed this month and will result in the resignation of 753 employees.
With local operations since 2011, The Day has had more than 80 units in Rio Grande do Sul, among its own stores and franchises. In the other states of the region, the network has no operations.
Currently, the chain has about 880 stores in Minas Gerais and São Paulo, in addition to the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
