Retail billing paulista in January is the lowest for the month since 2010

SÃO PAULO-São Paulo State retailers achieved revenues of R$ 44.1 billion in January, the smallest volume for the month since 2010, this Friday, 8 the Trade Federation of goods, services and services of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP). The amount represents real fall of 4.7% compared to the result of January 2015. Once again, the only segments that presented were the growth of supermarkets, with a high of 6.1%, and pharmacies and perfumeries, with 8.1% advance in comparison with January last year. The remaining segments surveyed were: appliances, electronics, and department stores ( -9.7%), furniture and decoration ( -2%), clothing stores, fabrics and footwear ( -0.9%) and other activities ( -11%).
