Florists Register 31.8% drop in sales

According to a survey of the Retail syndicate of flowers and ornamental plants in the State of São Paulo (Sindiflores), on the eve of all souls '' day, the demand for flowers in specialized trade fell 31.8% compared to last year. According to the survey, some stores have decided to even close the doors on the holiday by considers that the sales do not outweigh the costs of operation of the company during the date. The research showed that the increase of stalls selling flowers for the date and the offer of flowers in supermarkets has influenced the decrease of sales.
