Danone and Nestlé Waters invest in 100% renewable origin PET

3/17/2017 - Danone and Nestlé Waters, the two largest companies of bottled water in the world, joined forces with the Origin Materials, a startup based in Sacramento, California, to form the NaturALL Bottle Alliance. Together, the three companies aim to accelerate development to launch commercial-scale a PET bottle 100% derived from sustainable and renewable resources. The project uses biomass as raw material in order to not compete with food production for human or animal consumption.
