The toiletries are on average 2.28 percent more expensive this April compared to last month, in Belo Horizonte and Metropolitan Region. The survey was done by Procon Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais (ALMG) in 16 establishments on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Entre o período de 1994 até 2014 a cesta de higiene e beleza cresceu 185% enquanto a média dos itens de consumo rápido foi de alta de 124% no tamanho da cesta. Os números foram obtidos pela empresa norte-americana de pesquisas Nielsen. O estudo destaca que em 20 anos a venda desses itens tem crescido num patamar acima da média dos bens de consumo rápido. O documento traz que a venda de itens dessa categoria tende a ser preservada mesmo durante cenários de piora na economia.

Procter Gamble & reported that its net profit fell 48% in the fourth fiscal quarter, ended June 30, to $ 1.88 billion (US $ 0.64 per share), compared with profit of $ 3.63 billion (US $ 1.24 per share) in the same period last year. Excluding extraordinary items as restructuring, adjusted earnings fell to US $ 0.79 per share in the quarter, compared with profit of $ 0.82 per share a year earlier.
