Petrobras confirms readjustment of 15% in fuel oil

1/15/2014 - Petrobras confirmed today, in response to a query from the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), which reduced in 15%, on 30 December, the price of fuel oil in its refineries produced and sold in the Brazilian market.

Government controls, but expensive fuel at the gas station

11/19/2013 - Petrobras not readjusts automotive fuel prices since the beginning of this year, but in retail gasoline and diesel oil are more expensive. The Monthly Trade Survey (PMC), released yesterday by the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE), reveals that the prescription of fuel stations grew almost twice the volume of litres sold in September compared to the same month last year.

ALL enters the fuel import market

1/31/2013 - The Latin America logistics (ALL) enters the fuel import market with the agreement announced yesterday with the Cattalini. The partnership signed with the concessionaire railroad — which operates in the South, Southeast and Central-Western parts of the country — will allow the construction of a diesel oil terminal in the port of Paranaguá, Paraná, which will receive the first shipments already in March. It is the first rail terminal dedicated to receiving diesel imported from Brazil.
